![]() ![]() ![]() These mats are very, very heavy and I can’t imagine a hurricane could blow it out. Then, you cut off 12” of the width to make the mat 5’. Clearly, you’ll need another 2.5” cut and that is 31” from the back of the cab. The first cut is 4” from the back of the cab and was 2.5”. I have pics posted but here are my measurements, ALL from the the cab side of the mat. I didn’t have a 2x4 but used a brick, which worked but I continually had to move it. I had every power tool I had at the ready but all you need is a box cutter (with extra blades), a straight edge and a 2x4 roughly as wide as the mat. Before I list these, check out you tube for how to cut thick rubber mats. I mentioned previously I had purchased one and someone begged me to post the dimensions of my cuts. ![]() Also, the distance between the wheel wells is less than 4’, so some more trimming is required. Clearly since the bed is only 5’ long, a trim job is required. These mats, which sell for roughly $45 are 6’x4’x.75”. Someone earlier mentioned using one of these mats in their truck. ![]()
